World War II events in 1943 developed
across the globe as Stalingrad was liberated, the Jewish uprising
in the Warsaw ghetto, US forces advanced in the Pacific, North Africa
was liberated by the Allies and Allied Italian campaign began. Soviet
forces advanced on the Eastern Front, while the British RAF bombed
the Nazi capital Berlin. Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin met at
the Teheran Conference.

1944 saw events of World War II
develop in Europe, Leningrad siege was broken, Anzio landing in
Italy, Nazi secret weapons went into production, British RAF raid
on Hamburg, Allied forces liberate Rome and with D-Day, 'Operation
Overlord', invasion of mainland Europe and creating a Western Front.
The first of the Nazi secret weapons, the V1, land on London. Paris
was liberated by the Allies, and the second Nazi secret weapon,
the V2 missile, was unleashed. Allied forces finally entered Nazi
Germany.

1945 saw, Soviet troops liberat
Warsaw, US forces capture Iwo Jima in the Pacific, Allied troops
crossed the Rhine and the infamous Belsen and Buchenwald camps liberated.
The Nazi capital Berlin was captured by the Red Army and Nazi Germany
surrendered and triggered V.E. Day (Victory in Europe). In the Pacific
the first atomic bomb was dropped on the Japanses city of Hiroshima,
and after the second atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan
surrended to finally end World War II.
