1942 events of World War II developed in Europe. Nazi troops clashed with Soviet troops at the city of Stalingrad. The US and Japanese fleets met at the Battle Of Midway, while British and Nazi forces duel at the Battle Of El Alamein. The Allied Invasion Of North Africa, and the push to throw the Axis forces off the African continent.
