the codename 'Operation Greenhouse'. 'Easy' was a structual
effects test that had a yield of 47 kilotons.

nuclear test at Eintewok. 'Item' was the first test that used
Tritium as a boosting agent. 'The Boosting Principle' idea yielded
a blast of 45.5 kilotons.

General Philippe Pétain died. Signed an armistice with Nazi Germany, 16th June 1940. His
role in the Vichy collaboration with the Nazis earned him a
death sentence, commuted to life imprisonment.
